Supervisor Antkoviak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. at the township hall.
Haig made the motion to accept the September minutes, supported by Dotski. Motion carried.
Haig reported that he'd like the firemen's input into the free used fire truck before he pursues the matter any farther. Haig represented Munro Township at the Pellston Fire Department when their new fire truck was delivered to the fire station.
The Cheboygan County Humane Society asked for a grant from Munro Township to help defray costs for their animal shelter. Haig made a motion to give $250.00, supported by Dotski. Motion carried.
Ed Ginop who donated all the excavation work, fill, gravel and installed the septic system for the fire hall, asked if he could remove and use the remaining topsoil piled behind the hall. The Board agreed he could take the topsoil. Ginop reported that the test hole for a pond behind the fire hall has had water in it most of the summer. At a later date, he would dig a pond 150 feet long, 50 feet wide with tapered sides for a water source for the tanker trucks to get water during the winter.
Haig made the motion to have Matthew Ginop make a web site for Munro Township. Cost would be $180.00 up to 5 pages. Dotski supported the motion. Motion carried.
Ginop made the motion to pay the bills amounting to $3,360.88, supported by Haig. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: Wind turbines update - Cheboygan County Planning Commission is working on a ordinance. There will be a public hearing at a later date.
NEW BUSINESS: None
Haig made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Dotski, meeting was adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
