MUNRO TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
November 11, 2003

PRESENT: Antkoviak, Ginop, Dotski, Tracey, Haig
OTHERS PRESENT: Ed Ginop, Richard Buehler, Don Rader, Walt & Paul Nows, Ron Barr, Scott Wendt, Jackie & Quinter Burnett.

Supervisor Antkoviak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. in the fire hall.

Pledge to the flag was recited.

A motion by Tracey, supported by Haig to accept the October 14, 2003 minutes as read. Mr. Don Rader asked that the minutes need to be corrected. The minutes states that Pat Kitichen asked about paving the roads, it should be Pam Knaffle.

Mr. Ron Barr came before the board asking to split one piece out of the parent property located in Section 24 & 25 Parcel No. 16-080-025-200-002 on Riggsville Road. Tracey made the motion to accept the split, supported by Haig. All favored saying "Aye". Motion carried.

SBC, RACC 2000 and Centurytel requested right-of-way telecommunications permits for METRO Act in Munro Township. Tracey made the motion to sign and return the applications, supported by Dotski. Motion carried.

Antkoviak reported that Munro has $2,556.59 in unmatched funds from the Cheboygan County Road Commission fund. Ginop explained that the money received from the METRO Act can only be used for road right-of-way projects. This money could be used for road signs, dust control or for possible tar and chipping road projects.

Tracey made the motion to pay the monthly bills amounting to $5,018.71, supported by Haig. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS: Four bids for a hall furnace were opened. Bids were from Spray's Plumbing & Heating, Werner Plumbing & Heating, H & B Plumbing and Harry & Jerry's.

Haig made a motion to accept Harry & Jerry's bid of $2,160.45 for next spring. Tracey supported the motion.

NEW BUSINESS: Antkoviak reported that Cheboygan County Road Commission foreman, Bob Lake, said they will haul gravel and grade the roads. Everyone reported that their road was in bad condition.

Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Haig to adjourn. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 p.m.
