MUNRO TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
August 10, 2004

PRESENT: Antkoviak, Ginop, Tracey, Haig ABSENT: Dotski
OTHERS PRESENT: Walter Nows, Paul Nows, Richard Buehler, Wil Mandrick, Jackie & Quinter Burnett

Trustee, Robert Haig called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. at the township hall.

Pledge to the flag was recited.

MINUTES: Antkoviak made the motion to accept the July 13, 2004 meeting minutes, supported by Tracey. Motion carried.

Tracey made the motion to pay the monthly bills amounting to $6,894.57, supported by Antkoviak. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS: Paul Nows reported that Bob Lake from the Cheboygan County Road Commission did talk to him about cutting the grass along the sides of the roads. Paul said the intersections were mowed but the rest of the roads were not cut.

Antkoviak reported that his brother, Joe Antkoviak, owner of The Well Drilling Co. dug up the old well at the township hall. Wil Mandrick said Ken Parson from Alpena, will close up the well. Mr. Parson is from Groundwater Stewardship of the Michigan Department of Agriculture.

NEW BUSINESS

Antkoviak said he’d invite the new manager of the Cheboygan County Road Commission to attend our next meeting in September.

Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Antkoviak. The meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
