MUNRO TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
January 12, 2006
Munro Fire Hall, 7:30 p.m.

PRESENT: Antkoviak, Ginop, Dotski, Tracey, Mandrick

OTHERS PRESENT: Jackie Burnett, Quinter Burnett, Ed Ginop, Walter Nows, Paul Nows, George Bliss, Keith & Patricia Sipperley.

Supervisor Antkoviak called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

Pledge to the flag was recited.

MINUTES – Tracey made the motion to accept the December 13, 2005 meeting minutes, supported by Mandrick. Motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE –

BILLS – Mandrick made the motion to pay the monthly bills amounting to $3,408.72, supported by Tracey. Motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS – Mr. Sipperley asked if the Township Land Division Ordinance was finished. Ginop reported that the final draft was sent to attorney Tim MacArthur for final approval and she has not heard back from him.

Mr. Sipperley asked if the 30’ easement on Chastain’s property description was ever corrected. Ginop said that Tim MacArthur was talking to Mr. Daniel Loznak about the 30’ un-obstructive easement.

NEW BUSINESS - Mr. Paul Nows said the County Road Commission did a terrific job on the roads this winter.

The will be a Board of Review workshop held at Rudyard on February 9, 2006. Antkoviak will find out more information and find out how many would like to attend this session.

Antkoviak reported that all his township records were destroyed at his house fire last October. He said there would be a large Board of Review this March because of lost records.

Antkoviak stated that a 50-foot lot on Douglas Lake was sold for $500,000.00.

Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Dotski. The meeting was adjourned at 8:25 p.m.
