Munro Township Board Meeting
November 11, 2008
Munro Township Hall, 7:30 p.m

PRESENT:  Antkoviak, Ginop, Dotski, Tracey and Mandrick

OTHERS PRESENT:  Keith & Patricia Sipperley, Ed Ginop, Christina Beethem, Marie Watts.

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Supervisor Antkoviak.  Pledge to the flag was recited.

MINUTES of October 14, 2008 meeting was presented.  Tracey made the motion to approve the minutes, supported by Mandrick.  Motion carried.

Mandrick made the motion, supported by Tracey to pay the October bills amounting to $4,164.61.  Motion carried.

CORRESPONDENCE

• Bids came in to cut dead trees in the cemetery.
• C & H Tree Removal $1200.00 (Patrick Dodd) 3 trees $1100.00, extra tree $100.00
• Brothers Tree Service - $1000.00 to $1200.00 for 3 trees
• Williams Tree Service $1125.00 for 3 trees
• Wil Mandrick made the motion to award the bid to C & H Tree Removal. It was noted that the breakdown on the bid would be 3 trees at $1100.00 and the extra tree would be $100.00.  Tracey supported the motion.  Certificates of Insurance were provided with the bid.

Antkoviak reported that some lake front property on Munro Lake has been sold.  A 70 foot vacant lot sold for $85,000.00, a home sold for $170,000.00, another home sold for $90,000.00.

The winter meetings will be held at the fire hall located on the Levering Road, the second Tuesday of each month until May 2009.

Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Dotski.  The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
