Dear Munro Lake Drive Resident:

This form will serve as further explanation of the enclosed notification:

Currently, Munro Lake Drive is numbered off of both the East/West and the North/South numbering grids, running from 4 digits to 5 digits in a short distance. The major length of the road runs in a North/South direction except for a short distance at the southern end of the Drive.

This situation has resulted in confusion for emergency vehicles responding to dispatches.

We have chosen to divide Munro Lake Dr into two halves: West Munro Lake Dr beginning at the southeast comer of the intersection of Hayward Rd. and continuing west then north to the end of the road. This portion will have a number range of 9750 to 10500 and shall be numbered consecutively ascending from Hayward Rd.

E Munro Lake Dr shall begin at the northeast comer of the intersection of Hayward Rd and continuing north to and beyond the east/west intersection of the northern access from Heilman Rd. The number range will be 9750 to 10800 and will be numbered consecutively ascending from Hayward Rd.

Munro Lake Dr at the intersection of Heilman Rd will be renamed to Munro Lake Access Rd. with a range of 9000 to 9013 and will be on an east/west grid.

We have enclosed a map showing the changes.

Cheboygan County will be placing five (5) new road signs at the intersections.

These changes are immediate and will be communicated to the US Postal Service, E9-1-1, and the Township Assessor. You have 60 days to comply with the physical marking of your new address following the enclosed guidelines.
