OTHERS PRESENT: Richard Buehler, Ed Ginop, Wil Mandrick, Don Rader, Paul Nows, Walter Nows, Jackie & Quinter Burnett.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Antkoviak at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall.
Pledge to the flag was recited.
A motion by Tracey, supported by Ginop to accept the minutes of the December 11, 2003 meeting. Motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE:
PAYMENT OF BILLS: Tracey made the motion to pay the January bills amounting to $2,524.12, supported by Ginop. Motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Robert Lewis resigned from the Board of Review. Tracey made a motion to appoint Walt Nows to replace Mr. Lewis. Antkoviak supported the motion. All favored saying “Aye”.
Inverness Fire Dept. reported that Munro Township had 5 runs for 2003.
Residents agreed that Memorial Day weekend would be a good time for the Annual Clean-up/Trash pick Up Day. Ginop will contact 3 sanitation companies for bids. It was commented that last year’s hauler,PAC Sanitation did a great job of hauling away, steel, sofas and mattresses.
WHINES, GRIPES & MOANS: Paul Nows asked why the road commission plows the black top roads first. Antkoviak reported that the Class A roads are done first, (US 27) primary, (Levering Road) than secondary roads last.
A motion by Tracey to adjourn the meeting was supported by Antkoviak. The meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
