PUBLIC COMMENTS
Mr. Kevin Knolls read a letter to the board stating that he purchased a piece of property on Polish Line Road 7 years ago. Before purchasing the property he was informed by maps in the County building and the Cheboygan County Road Commission that this section of road was still on the books as maintained year round. The revised map books this year show the same. Now that he wants to build, the road commission said if they ok maintaining this road at all that Mr. Knoll would have to pay the upgrade expense. Mr. Knoll is rather upset about paying for a road when the State of Michigan pays the Cheboygan County Road Commission to maintain this road.

Just before the meeting, Mr. Knoll was informed that the road commission is looking into this matter and will let him know what they decide. The Munro Township Board said to wait until the road commission makes a decision before it will take action on this matter.

CORRESPONDENCE
Tim MacArthur, township attorney, wrote a letter stating that Munro Township could use the new fire hall as a voting place. A new law was passed that states that voting places do not have to be in the township. Ginop stated that some residents want to vote in the old hall. Richard Buehler said the new fire hall is heated, has better lighting, is handicap accessible, no steps to climb and the parking is better. Why should a few dictate on where to vote. Ginop said there is no elections this year and the topic can be brought up at a later date.

ADDRESS CHANGES ON MUNRO LAKE DRIVE
The Cheboygan Equalization department sent out new address and road name changes to everyone owning property on Munro Lake Drive. New road names will be E. Munro Lake Drive, W. Munro Lake Drive and Munro Lake Access Drive. Road numbers were changed for 911 services.

Mandrick made motion to accept the new number changes on Munro Lake. Tracey supported the motion.

Letter from Dave Wendland of Royal Oak, MI wanted to say how much his family values the information on the township website. He has property on Munro Lake Drive and he reads the monthly minutes, it keeps him connected with what is going on year round.
