PRESENT: Antkoviak, Ginop, Dotski, Tracey, Mandrick

OTHERS PRESENT: Paul Nows, Walter Nows, Ed Ginop, George Bliss, Lisa Atherholt, Jerry Atherholt, Quinter Burnett, Jackie Burnett, Patricia Sipperley, Keith Sipperley, Richard Elbert and attorney, Tim MacArthur.

Supervisor Antkoviak called the meeting to order.

Pledge to the flag was recited.

Tracey made the motion to accept the minutes of September 13, 2005, supported by Mandrick.



Mandrick made the motion to pay the monthly bills amounting to $3,655.43, supported by Tracey. Motion carried.

Dry Hydrant Ordinance is tabled until Antkoviak finds out what the other three townships (Hebron, Inverness and Beaugrand) are going to do. 

The Michigan Townships Association will be conducting a land division workshop on November 10th in Gaylord. Trustee, Wil Mandrick will attend this workshop.

Attorney, Tim MacArthur said Brian Duvall of the Cheboygan County Planning and Zoning Department is sending a letter out to the townships on changing the Land Division Ordinance. It is suggested that the applicant go to the County before coming to the Township Board for approval. Issues about access, width and length of lots, easements must be applicable to county zoning and the right amount of splits.

Tracey made the motion to accept the Land Division Ordinance with the new corrections. Supported by Mandrick. Motion carried. A roll call vote was made.


The township meetings starting with the November 8th meeting will be held at the fire hall located at 8872 Levering Road till June 2006.

Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Dotski. The meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
