MUNRO TOWNSHIP BOARD MEETING
November 14, 2006
Munro Fire Hall, 7:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Antkoviak, Ginop, Dotski, Tracey, and Mandrick
OTHERS PRESENT: Paul and Walter Nows
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Antkoviak at 7:30 p.m. Pledge to the flag was recited.
MINUTES
Tracey made the motion to approve the minutes of the October 10, 2006 meeting, supported by Mandrick. Motion carried.
PAYMENT OF BILLS
Mandrick made the motion to pay the October bills amounting to $3,933.49, supported by Tracey. Motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE
- Michigan Townships Assn. mailed out a Planning & Zoning Survey. Munro Township and 17 other Townships are under the Cheboygan County Planning & Zoning, only Burt Township has their own Zoning Board.
- DEQ Permit was granted to Ed Grant on Douglas Lake for shoreline protection.
- DEQ Permit was granted to Ron Keleman on Douglas Lake for shoreline protection.
- Cheboygan County Road Commission showed the remainder money for Munro Township. Matching Funds $2,111.55 and Un-matching Funds $2,525.50. It was decided to use the money for road gravel. Antkoviak will contact Dana Stempkey about ordering gravel for 2007.
- Mandrick reported that he received a Crawford County Tire Cleanup Report at the Michigan Townships Assn. meeting. This program allows county residents to clean up their yards and dispose of their old tires in a proper fashion.
OLD BUSINESS - None
NEW BUSINESS
A December Board of Review Meeting will be held December 12, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fire Station No. 2, located at 8872 Levering Road.
Tracey made the motion to adjourn the meeting, supported by Mandrick. The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
